Contract Summary:
No 1 Oxford Street – the 1930’s art deco office block known as Commonwealth House, has undergone a full refurbishment and extension. The refurbished building will provide 12,250 sqft of retail and 95,000 sqft Grade A office space for a new generation of office occupiers. All the ground floor retail units will be replaced by shop fronts informed by the Art Moderne period of the building’s creation. The seventy five year old Grand Dame will be rejuvenated whilst holding close the stong character instilled by it’s original designer de Lafontaine.
