TES has been awarded a significant, multi-million-euro contract to supply the critical power distribution infrastructure for a new, large-scale hyperscale data centre campus being developed in Paris, France.
The project, for a leading global provider of hyperscale and large enterprise data centre solutions, represents a major investment in France’s digital economy, designed to meet the rapidly growing demand for cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) services across Europe.
The double-digit, multi-million-euro contract will see TES deliver a comprehensive, multi-phase power distribution solution. The scope of work includes the design, manufacture, delivery, and commissioning of more than 30 bespoke low-voltage (LV) switchgear units. This critical infrastructure will form the backbone of the facility’s electrical system, powering both the data halls and the advanced cooling systems required for high-density computing.
The solution encompasses a range of specialised equipment, including 5000A Main IT Switchboards, 5000A Cooling LV Switchboards, and a 6300A Loadbank Switchboard, demonstrating the scale and technical complexity of the project.
Beyond manufacturing, TES’s role is integral to the entire project lifecycle. The company’s specialist teams will provide on-site supervision of the installation and will manage the comprehensive commissioning process through all stages up to final handover. This end-to-end responsibility ensures that the critical power infrastructure is not only built to the highest standards but is also perfectly integrated into the facility’s complex operational framework, guaranteeing performance and reliability from day one.
The new Paris campus is at the forefront of data centre design, engineered specifically to support the next wave of high-density AI workloads while operating on 100% renewable energy. TES’s highly efficient and robust power distribution systems are a critical component in achieving these ambitious performance and sustainability goals. By providing the resilient electrical backbone, TES is directly enabling the client to deliver world-class, environmentally responsible digital services to the European market.
“We are incredibly proud to have been selected as the critical power partner for this prestigious project,” said TES Head of Sales Data Centres, Andy Bryan. “This award is a testament to our team’s expertise in designing and delivering robust, high-specification power solutions for the data centre industry. Powering the next generation of digital infrastructure is at the heart of what we do, and we are excited to support our client in bringing this state-of-the-art facility online.”
This project further solidifies TES’s position as a key supplier to Europe’s fast-growing data centre market, showcasing its capability to deliver complex, mission-critical infrastructure on a grand scale.
