TES has recently been awarded a new major Framework Contract with Thames Water for the provision of MEICA services on non-infrastructure projects, which has a value of up to £5m. The 8-year Framework Contract will see TES deliver water and wastewater non-infrastructure projects throughout the Thames Water region.
Thames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater services provider, serving 16 million customers across London and the surrounding counties. As part of the new PR24 Business Plan, Thames Water has committed to spending £4.7bn on its network and services in response to its statutory obligations, the critical need to improve asset resilience, and the delivery of environmental improvements.
As part of this new Framework, TES will provide Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, & Automation (MEICA) services on projects throughout the Thames Water region, incorporating refurbishment, replacement and provision of new potable water and wastewater treatment assets, including service and storage reservoirs. Drawing on their extensive water industry experience, TES’s team has the vision and expertise to overcome any of the water or wastewater challenges their clients face.
Regarding the Framework contract award, TES Operations Director Ciaran Donnelly said, “We are delighted to secure this long-term framework with Thames Water, solidifying our partnership and commitment to delivering essential MEICA services for the region. Our team is eager to apply our expertise and innovative solutions to support Thames Water’s critical infrastructure upgrades, ensuring reliable water and wastewater services for millions of customers.”
