On Thursday 6th June 2019 TES were presented with the prestigious RoSPA Gold Award by RoSPA Chairman Mike Parker. The award was in recognition of TES’s Health and Safety procedures and practices aimed at ensuring staff, clients & partners get home safely at the end of each working day.
The RoSPA Awards scheme is internationally renowned and is the longest running industry awards scheme in the UK. It recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Collecting the award on behalf of TES, SHEQ Manager John Crossan said “I am delighted to accept such a highly respected award on behalf of all TES members of staff. The award shows our commitment to the safety, health and wellbeing of employees and stakeholders as we continue to dedicate our full attention to this most critical area.”
More than 14,000 people die as a result of accidents across the UK each year with millions of other injuries. Accidents cause loss and suffering to the victims and their loved ones, employers and UK society as a whole. RoSPA promote safety and the prevention of accidents at work, on the road, in the home, at leisure and through safety education.
