TES staff have, in recent weeks, completed a number of charity events in order to raise money for locally based charities. Events have included a truck pulling competition and a charity lunch.
On Sunday 29th March a team of 8 TES employees competed in a truck pull competition for Cancer Focus Northern Ireland. The team finished a close second on the day but more importantly managed to raise £820 for Cancer Focus.
Following on from this success a charity lunch and Easter raffle was held on Thursday 2nd April in order to raise funds for the Mid-Ulster National Autistic Society, from which £300 was successfully raised.
Commenting on the recent fundraising activity TES Office Manager, Joan Laverty said “we are delighted to have raised this money for two very worthy causes. Both charities have directly impacted on the lives of TES employees and their families and it’s great to be able to support their ongoing work within the local community.”
