TES recently celebrated its success on being included in London Stock Exchange’s second edition of “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” report. The report, which according to its authors, “shines a light on some of the UK’s most vibrant companies”, is an annual celebration of some of the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UK. As well as identifying 1,000 companies, the annual report examines in detail the opportunities and challenges facing SMEs and looks at the sectors and trends that will shape the future of the UK economy.
According to Xavier Rolet, CEO of London Stock Exchange Group, TES were selected for the list having “demonstrated not only positive growth in revenue over the last four years, but also having significantly out-performed sector peers.”
The aim of the report is to continue to highlight, to as wide an audience as possible, the importance of fast growing businesses to the future of the UK economy, and the support they require. This can include reducing bureaucracy, to media promotion to providing access to finance. The report has recently received the support of the UK Government and major political parties.
TES Chairman, Brian Taylor remarked, “this is a very special occasion for the company and marks a pivotal moment in TES’ growth and development”. He added, “To be included in a list of businesses that innovates, excels and is fuelling the ongoing economic recovery is very inspiring and will motivate the TES team to maintain momentum”.
