TES have recently been awarded a Community Trademark within the European Union, providing increased protection for the TES brand, products and services and acting as a deterrent to anyone using similar signs / trademarks.
TES took the decision to apply for a Registered Trademark following continued growth and expansion and to protect the value of the TES brand to it’s worldwide client base.
The Community Trademark was granted to TES following the submission of an application to the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), based in Alicante, Spain. The application was checked to ensure that the TES trademark was unique and that no other similar marks existed. Following this period of checking the Trademark was granted for all European Union member states for a period of 10 years, after which it can be renewed.
Commenting on the award of the Community Trademark TES Office Manager, Joan Laverty said “we want to protect the hard work that has been done as a company over the past number of years and protecting our intellectual property is an important part of this process. As a company we will continue to to seek further ways of protecting our brand and reputation with global clients.”
