During the COVID-19 outbreak TES have continued to innovate and have recently introduced a new remote Factory Acceptance Test for our clients. This will allow you and other team members to view, participate, instruct and record your FAT from the safety of your own home or office.
The remote FAT system developed by TES can be used securely with any video conferencing platform including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom. The TES testing engineer wears a head mounted camera, fitted with microphone and screen allowing them to operate, hands free, from TES HQ. They will communicate with you in real-time, with a live video of what they are seeing and what they are doing streamed to your computer. You can instruct the engineer to look at a specific item and for any intricate details the camera can zoom, takes photo’s and enhance them.
Commenting on the new remote FAT system, TES Operations Director, Martin Brannigan said “we quickly realised during the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak that our critical infrastructure clients may not be able to attend FAT in the normal way at our premises and began an R&D project to develop a system for this to be done remotely. The system we are implementing and introducing to all our clients meets all of the criteria we had set and will allow for a comprehensive, safe FAT, with full client participation from a remote location of their choosing.”
The remote FAT system is available for all TES clients, for further information please contact us.
