Following on from their recent success at the Ulster finals of the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards, TES have went on to claim the ‘Best Established SME’ title for all of Ireland, seeing off some tough competition along the way.
The finals of the 2012 Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards were held in Dublin’s Mansion House on Thursday 30th May 2013 and saw 36 of the best companies that Ireland have to offer come together for a night of celebration and reflection.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, David Thomas, Managing Director of Ulster Bank’s Corporate Banking Division, said: “This year’s 32 national finalists represent 20 counties, employing over 3,000 people and have a combined annual turnover of over €320 million. With a record number of entries this year, totalling just under 600, Ulster Bank has seen first-hand the outstanding talent and achievements of the SMEs and entrepreneurs across the island of Ireland. Our award winners are an inspiration to businesses throughout the country and I would like to congratulate them and wish them every success in the future.”
Brian Taylor (Executive Chairman), Noel McCracken (Managing Director) and James McCusker (Sales Director) of TES went along to the ceremony and were presented with the award by Ian Jordan and Kenton Hilman of Ulster Bank.
Following the announcement that TES had been crowned ‘Best Established SME’ Executive Chairman Brian Taylor said “we are really honoured to be the recipients of this award, when you look at the other companies in our category the standard is incredibly high and the judging panel must have had a hard decision to pick a winner. It’s great for TES to receive this recognition for the hard work that all the staff have put in and the progress that has been made over the past number of years. We believe that this is just the beginning of an exciting journey for TES and everyone involved with the company is looking forward to the next number of years to try to achieve the ambitious targets and goals that are in place.”
