TES have recently become members of RoSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), who are at the heart of accident prevention in the UK and around the world. This support will enable RoSPA to continue saving lives and reduce injuries.
More than 14,000 people die as a result of accidents across the UK each year with millions of other injuries. Accidents cause loss and suffering to the victims and their loved ones, employers and UK society as a whole. RoSPA promote safety and the prevention of accidents at work, on the road, in the home, at leisure and through safety education.
RoSPA will provide TES with support, advice and guidance on our mission to continually improve the welfare, safety and health of employees throughout the world. Membership will also allow TES to collaborate with other membership organisations on welfare, safety and health and will ensure that the company remains at the forefront on new innovations and ahead of global standards.
Commenting on the RoSPA membership TES SHEQ Manager John Crossan said “It’s important for the company and all our employees to remain focused and vigilant on the welfare, health and safety of themselves, colleagues and other stakeholders at all times. RoSPA will provide us with valuable support, advice and guidance to enable us to continually improve our standards.”
