Treatment Works Upgrades

Refurb & Upgrade

Refurbishment and Upgrade Projects

Upgrading or refurbishing your existing water or wastewater treatment plant can often be the most economical solution to meet current or future population demands and consents. TES specialise in managing refurbishment and upgrade projects, working in close collaboration with your teams throughout all stages of the project; from conception to completion. We are experienced in a range of upgrade and refurbishment projects from small efficiency improvements to large capacity and process upgrades. Some examples of what TES can do for you are included below.

Energy Efficiency Optimisation
A specialist TES team can visit your plant and conduct a detailed analysis of current energy efficiency of your plant. A full report is prepared and presented to you outlining suggestions to improve the energy efficiency of your plant. TES can then complete any improvement work you would like to proceed with following review of the report. This approach has successfully provided massive OPEX savings to clients throughout the UK and Ireland.
Replacement of Ageing Assets
Ageing assets not only are likely to be less efficient than more modern equivalents but represent a much higher risk of breaking down and disrupting the operation of your treatment works. TES can survey the existing assets on your site, provide a detailed condition report and procure, install, test and commission a new piece of plant or equipment with minimal disruption to the running of your works.
Process Changes
A process change to an existing water or wastewater treatment plant may be required due to a number of factors. TES in-house team can assess the current processes and determine solutions that will meet your exact requirements.
Capacity Upgrade
TES can survey your site and propose changes in order to meet capacity change requirements that you might have. Our in-house team is experienced in designing, installation, testing and commissioning a range of water and wastewater treatment plant capacity upgrades.
