TES have recently been awarded a project to supply the LV distribution equipment for Phase 2 of a new 3MW data centre being constructed in London, continuing our work within critical infrastructure and data centres. The new centre has been constructed by Digital Realty within Manor Royal Business District, the largest business park of the Gatwick Diamond area. The past number of years has witnessed rapid growth in demand for new data centres, driven by increasing demand in online video streaming, downloading, online shopping, internet banking etc.
Digital Realty have over 195 Data Centres in 12 countries including North America, Asia Pacific and Europe making them one of the largest providers of data storage in the world. They provide data centre and collocation solutions for domestic and international tenants across a range of industries.
As part of the project TES will provide the following;
- Design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 4no. 2500A Main LV UPS input / output Switchboards for critical services;
- Fully withdrawable ACBs;
- Anti-condensation heaters fitted to protect instrumentation and circuit breakers;
- Form 4B Type 6 construction;
- Thermal imaging windows;
- PLC Hardware;
- Software design, development, testing and commissioning.
TES provide a wide range of products and services for Data Centres including LV Switchgear, PDU, ATS’s, and Distribution Boards. In addition TES design, develop and deliver PLC control systems with professionally designed graphical displays and control systems, tailored to the end user requirements; providing site wide monitoring and control to optimise the efficiency of the project.
