TES actively encourage innovation throughout the company and at all levels, listening to our staff, our customers, project delivery partners and feeding that input into our strategic planning.
Innovate NI is a Department for the Economy initiative, delivered by Invest Northern Ireland in partnership with local councils and further education colleges which supports businesses to innovate successfully. The Innovation Framework, provided by Innovate NI, provides a pathway to implement and commercialise ideas, with a four step process;
- Ideation: Creating valuable new business ideas.
- Selection: Choosing the best ideas to develop.
- Development: Developing and testing the best idea.
- Commercialisation: Launching the new product or service, or implementing a new process.
This Framework ensures a focus on generating ideas, objectively selecting the right idea, testing and developing it thoroughly and commercialising or implementing it to create value in the business.
Commenting on the award of Gold Level Innovator status TES Chairman, Brian Taylor said “we’re delighted to have been recognised as a Gold Level Innovator by Innovate NI, innovation has been a key part in the successful growth and development of TES over the past 20 years and it will continue to be hugely important to the company as we move forward.
